THIS YEAR THE NEW MAIN TASTE WAS AGAIN ONE OF ZAGAT 2008'S "BEST RESTAURANTS IN NJ" and received one of the highest food ratings out of any Asian restaurant in New Jersey. We have also recently recieved four and a half stars (out of five) rating on Spotlight.com Best of City Search, and AOL City Guide 2007.
We have received many honors in our nearly 20 years in Chatham, but the biggest compliment of all comes from our regular customers, who show their appreciation by coming back again and again, anxiously towing new friends each time into the fold. We particularly want to thank these customers for sustaining 12 years of constant "good buzz." At New Main, you are always welcome.

WE HAVE SOLD OUR LIQUOR LICENSE. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING YOUR OWN Our restaurant was simply too small to have a bar, which would have made a liqour license profitable. We have found that the vast majority of our customers prefer and are used to bringing in their own wine and beer, as so many restaurants in the area are not licensed. TAKE OUT SERVICE Due to popular demand, we are happy to provide take-out service, however, as we are a fine dining restaurant and must give priority to our dine-in customers, we reserve the right to refuse take out orders, especially on friday and saturday nights. Your best bet is to call us early in the evening. Feel free to browse and print out our online menu by clicking the "Menu" button on your left, but please call the restaurant to check for availability.

We have an eclectic offering of food selections catering to sophisticated palettes that will make your party a success..and talked about long after the night is over.
We also offer special appetizer buffet trays for corporate luncheons/meetings. Call the restaurant for details. We would love to hear from you, but please do not make reservations or catering inquiries via the website.
